We are looking for professionals who are degree or diploma holders with relevant working experience to apply for the following positions. They should be resourceful, organised and possess excellent communication skills. They have to work well in a team and under a fast-paced environment. In addition, proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint is essential.

ASSISTANT MANAGER/ MANAGER, COMMUNICATIONS (2-YEARS CONTRACT)

Be part of the action and communications buzz for some of Singapore’s largest international events!

This role is for someone who is passionate about making a difference to businesses and events through creative and effective communications programmes.

You will assist in:

  • Planning and managing the implementation of communications strategies and campaigns
  • Researching and crafting story angles, and pitching them with the media
  • Managing media cultivation and relationships
  • Developing and producing communications collaterals such as corporate videos, brochures and newsletters;
  • Managing and creating content for amplification across communications channels;
  • Managing media-related activities and on-site PR support for high profile international events.
  • Engaging with global exhibitors for content to maximise publicity
  • Liaising with PR agency/ies in the day implementation of communications plans
  • Any other duties as assigned

You are:

  • A strong communicator (written and oral) with excellent attention to detail; and effectively bilingual
  • A clear thinker with a creative imagination that shapes stories no one can dream up
  • A proactive, resourceful and organised task manager with the ability to multi-task and juggle tight deadlines
  • Always asking questions to understand, asking why-not to find more efficient ways; while also surviving our questions, and why-nots at the same time
  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Arts/ Social Sciences, or another relevant field
  • Thrilled with the rare opportunity to work with some of Singapore’s largest international flagship events, ie Singapore Airshow 2020 (Feb 2020), Singapore International Water Week/ World Cities Summit/ Clean Enviro Singapore (July 2020)

CONFERENCE MANAGER (2-YEARS CONTRACT)

  • Require to organise and manage a conference from start to finish but not limiting to:
    1. Project management including secretariat functions, speakers & delegates management, delegates recruitment, registration management, call for papers, database management;
    2. Formulating conference strategy including process improvements to enhance conference planning;
    3. Budget management;
    4. Co-creating new and innovative ideas/features to provide a holistic experience for all stakeholders including rooms set-up, food & beverages audio visuals & sound system;
    5. Work with Marketing and Communications Teams to give the conference better visibility to better align with the conference content;
    6. Coordinate and work with the Operations team to manage and oversee the logistics requirements on-site among stakeholders, service providers, venue managers and customers.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma holder. He/she should have at least 3 years of experience organising conferences with at least 1 year in a managerial position.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication skills with client-service orientation.
  • Possess good planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to converse in Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese speaking clients).

ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER/ SENIOR MARKETING EXECUTIVE (2-YEARS CONTRACT)

  • Execute the overall integrated marketing plan to draw exhibitors, trade visitors and delegates to the exhibition and conferences;
  • Assist in manage the marketing budget to achieve set performances targets including above the line, below-the-line, online, social, digital and/or mobile campaigns;
  • Assist to identify new attendee segments and recommend outreach solutions;
  • Profile, build and manage database;
  • Ensure the timely delivery and monitor effectiveness of all campaigns;
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to continuously improve campaigns performance;
  • Bring new innovation and creative ideas to optimize current marketing campaign and strategies;
  • Cross functional coordination and communication (internally and externally) to ensure event objectives and client satisfaction is seamlessly delivered;
  • Work cohesively with PR team and editorial to ensure integrated and consistent event brand message;
  • Support project and sales team and marketing peers for cross marketing campaigns and initiative.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder is preferred or a minimum Diploma.
  • At least 3 years of proven marketing experience.
  • Adaptive, resourceful and creative.
  • Possess good planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to converse in Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese speaking clients).

SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE/SALES EXECUTIVE (2-YEARS CONTRACT)

  • Sell exhibition space and sponsorship with the aim to achieve the given sales targets and revenues;
  • Identify and/or to acquire new sales leads with the aim to strengthen the sales pipeline and grow exhibitors/sponsors bases;
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities to expand market share and penetration of new markets and related industries;
  • Service and manage existing accounts and up-sell to existing exhibitors/sponsors;
  • Explore and implement innovative sales strategies;
  • Participate in the planning and development of sales marketing and communications materials;
  • Involvement in sales administration including after-sales-service with the intention to provide a holistic customer experience for the exhibitors/sponsors.

Requirements:

  • He/she should have at least 3 years of proven sales track record, preferably in the exhibition industry.
  • Strong sales presentation, interpersonal, communication skills with client-service orientation.
  • Adaptive, resourceful and possess strong sales follow-up skills.
  • Possess good planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to converse in Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese speaking clients).
